PLEASE NOTE THAT MU MAY NOT PROVIDE
ANY ITEMS TO EVENTS THAT WILL DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BENEFIT PROSPECT-AGED INDIVIDUALS (9TH-12TH grade, except men’s basketball 7th-12th). An individual is considered a prospect from the time he or she enrolls in 9th grade (7th grade-men’s basketball) until the time he or she enrolls at a collegiate institution. High school graduation does not negate prospect status.
In an effort to satisfy the increasing number of requests, the University of Missouri has recently implemented a new request policy. Individuals and organizations have the opportunity to request autographed memorabilia and/or tickets for use for charitable purposes only. Because of the high demand for
these items, requests for personal use, which includes requests for items to be used as gifts, cannot be honored at this time. Out-of-state requests are limited to states that are home to SEC institutions (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas), as well as Illinois and Kansas.
Per institutional policies, requests that benefit events that include gambling and/or gaming activities
will not be honored.
In an effort to assist as many charitable efforts as possible, requests for more than one of any autographed item for a single event cannot be honored.
Complimentary tickets may be requested for up to three sports. Tickets for MU sports are only available at certain times of the year, and requests for tickets outside that period of availability cannot be filled.
Autographed memorabilia is only available for purchase. Items that are currently
in stock are listed on the request form, in addition to the cost of the item.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF AN ITEM DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE REQUEST FORM IT IS NOT
CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. The
request form is updated on a regular basis to accurately reflect availability of
memorabilia. If an item you wish to purchase is not currently available,
please check back at a later date. Keep in mind that memorabilia is
typically signed in the fall prior to the start of each team's competitive
season. Due to the many obligations of our coaching staff and
student-athletes, they may not be immediately able to sign additional
memorabilia, particularly while their teams are in season.
It is impermissible under NCAA rules to sell any item that includes the autograph of a single student-athlete. For that reason, MU does not facilitate requests for student-athlete autographs. Anyone wishing to obtain a student-athlete signature may do so at Fan Day or other scheduled signing events.
A limited supply of autographed memorabilia and tickets are kept in stock. Requests are filled on a first come, first served basis. Once the annual supply is depleted, additional items will not be available until the following academic year. All requests will be reviewed and either approved or denied by the Compliance Office in accordance with NCAA rules. If your request is approved, you will be contacted by Ryan Allen
to arrange payment and pickup. If your request is denied, you will receive an email notifying you why the request may not be fulfilled.
Items will be available for pickup Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM at the
receptionist’s desk located on the south side of Mizzou Arena. If you reside out
of town, items may be shipped to your home or organization’s address. The
shipping charge is $15 for the first autographed item and $5 for each additional
item. MU accepts cash, credit/debit card (excluding American Express), money
order, and check. Checks should be made payable to the University of Missouri.
UPS and FedEx account numbers may also be used to ship memorabilia.
permit MU coaches and student-athletes to make appearances and/or participate in
certain community events. Availability is limited due to class, travel,
and competition schedules, and student-athlete participation is subject to the
approval of the coaching staff. All appearance requests will be reviewed
and either approved or denied by the Compliance Office in accordance with NCAA
rules. Student-athlete appearances will be coordinated by Aaron Paterson,
Total Person Program Graduate Assistant. Coaching staff appearances will be
coordinated by either the coach or an appropriate member of the sport’s staff.
If your request is denied, you will receive an email notifying you why the
request may not be fulfilled.
Please note that NCAA rules often restrict the use of a student-athlete’s name or image to promote an event.
Therefore, any use of a student-athlete’s name, photo, or likeness must be prior approved by the Athletics Compliance Office.
It is permissible to provide actual and necessary expenses directly associated with participation (i.e. a meal or transportation).
PLEASE ALLOW 4-8 WEEKS FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR REQUEST.
T-shirts, stickers, and other sports memorabilia are not available for donation at this time. Donations may be available to University affiliated organizations through the MU bookstore. More information can be found at the following website:
